Lake Perris - Pre-Turkey Fishoff 11-23-06

It started out as nice cool glassy day in the mid 70's and the water temperature was between 60-65 degrees. This was one of the toughest day I've ever fished besides getting skunked on rare occasions (Yes, they do happens sometimes) Mike and I fished from 7:00 am to 1:30 pm without getting a fish, nada, zilt, zero then, on a desperate measure, we fished the marina area on our last resort deal. We we're ready to throw in the towel when at 1:55 pm......BAM!!!! I caught the first Bass on board! A 16" Billy. The monkey was off our back! Finally!!!!! It's about time. Then about a minute later Mike lands his fatty....another 16" beauty. CRAZY! In 1/2 an hour we landed 4 fish and lost two more on broken line and lost in retrieve. All I can say was THANK YOU JESUS!!! For making our DAY....

Jace's first Fish and meets BASS Champ! 11/05/2006

Jace meets Kevin Van Dam at Angler's Marine 2006 Bass-A-Thon. Kevin last won the 2006 Bass Master Classic and has over 2.5 Million in Tournament winnings under his belt. He is considered the "Tiger Woods in Fishing" and the greatest fisherman around. Jace is hoping to join Kevin in the winning circle in the near future!

Jace's first fish ever! An awesome size Crappie to boot! Caught at Lake Elsinore by the boat launch area. Jace used a white mini-jig on a split shot with a 4 lb. test line. Great job Jace!
